Rocking Star Adventures offers a variety of flights over the ice fields of the Kluane National Park.

Haines Junction Tours

LOWELL & DUSTY GLACIER
Fly over two of the surging glaciers, the Lowell & the Dusty Glacier. They surge approximately every 15 years. The Lowell Glacier terminates at Lowell Lake, calving impressive icebergs into the sparkling blue water. Follow the beautiful Alsek River valley back to Haines Junction.

PINNACLE PEAK TOUR
Leave Haines Junction and see the beautiful grasslands and river valleys of Kluane National Park. Fly further into the park where you will see Pinnacle Peak, Mount Alverstone, Mount Kennedy, the Lowell Icefalls and Lowell Lake, the Disappointment and Dusty Glaciers, and the South Arm of the Kaskawulsh Glacier.

KING & QUEEN TOUR
The King & Queen tour extends the Pinnacle Peak tour to venture further into the icefields, including views of Mount Queen Mary & Mount King George named in 1935 for Queen Mary’s Silver Jubilee, Mount Vancouver, a chance to see Mount Logan, and the expansive Hubbard, Stairway, and Kaskawulsh Glaciers.

LOGAN SUPER TOUR
Get up close and personal with Canada’s highest peak, extending the King & Queen Tour to include a trip around Mount Logan. DONJEK/KLUANE GLACIER TOUR
Fly over the braided Donjek River to the toe of the Kluane and Donjek Glaciers, with breathtaking views of these two impressive valley glaciers. See the bright blue summer glacial pools on the surface of the surging Donjek glacier before flying the Hoge pass back to your starting point.

KASKAWULSH AND KLUANE GLACIER TOUR
You will start out flying along Kluane Lake, the Yukon’s largest lake, then up the Slims River valley to the Kaskawulsh Glacier and into the heart of the Icefields. Take in incredible views of several of North America’s highest peaks, including Mount Vancouver, Mount Steele and Mount Lucania, with a possible view of Mount Logan in the distance. You will follow the Kluane Glacier out of the park with a sneak peek up the Donjek glacier.

KASKAWULSH AND DONJEK TOUR
Adding on to the one hour tour, you will head towards Mount Queen Mary and Mount King George, and again a view of several of North America’s highest peaks with a closer look at Mount Logan. You will see the full length of the Kaskawulsh Glacier as well as the Hubbard and Kluane Glaciers. Fly by Mount Walsh and over the Donjek Glacier on the way back to the airport.

LOGAN SUPER TOUR
Extend the 1.5h tour to include the Seward, Columbus, Logan and Walsh Glaciers, as well as a trip around Mount Logan, Canada’s highest peak. See more of Kluane’s towering peaks including Mount Hubbard, Mount Augusta, and Mount St Elias.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
If Rocking Star Adventures decides weather conditions are unfavorable or unsafe, Rocking Star Adventures will not fly. The tour will be postponed until weather conditions improve. If weather conditions are unfavorable on the day you were scheduled to fly, we will work with you to fit you into our schedule on the next available flight.
If Rocking Star Adventures decides the weather is unfavorable while guests are in the Kluane Region and therefore must be cancelled Rocking Star Adventures will refund any deposits and/or prepaid tours.
When booking your flight with Rocking Star Adventures, we require a credit card number with expiry date – no deposit is charged as this is used to hold your seats.
- If you have been contacted the day of your flight and told the weather is good and do not show up for your flight, 10% of the total cost of your flight will be charged to your credit card.
- If Rocking Star Adventures cancels your flight for any reason there will be no charges to your credit card.
- If you cancel your flight with less than 7 days notice, 10% of the cost of your flight will be charged to your credit card.
Starting May 1st, 2024 credit card payments will be charged a 2.4% surcharge on top of the cost of the flight. Interac/Debit card will incur no surcharge. We will also accept cash (Haines Junction has Debit machines at Topspot and Little Green Apple). You may also do an email transfer as payment for flights.
