FAQs
What should I wear? Will it be cold in the plane?
You should wear long pants and closed toe shoes, and bring a light jacket for tours between May 1 st and August 31 st . For tours between March 1 st – April 30 th and September 1 st – October 31 st , we recommend a warmer jacket (like a puffer type jacket, gloves and a touque.
We do have heating/cooling within the plane so the temperature will usually be comfortable.
What can I bring on the flight?
All loose items must be secured for the flight. You may bring small items such as sunglasses, cameras, and water bottles – there is limited room in seat-back pockets for loose items. If you need to bring a small backpack on the flight, it will be secured in the baggage compartment of the aircraft and you won’t be able to access it during flight. Please note that bear spray is prohibited in all aircraft as it could accidentally go off during flight.
I get motion sick easily. Will I be okay on a flight?
If you know you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend taking your usual precautions (eg motion sickness chews/bracelets). We carry leak-proof bags on board just in case.
How can I pay for my flight?
We accept Mastercard, Visa and debit card, cash, or e-transfer from a Canadian bank account. There are ATMs located in Whitehorse, or in Haines Junction at Topspot or the Little Green Apple.
What if the weather is bad the day of my flight?
We will contact you the morning of your flight to let you know if the weather is good for your flight. If the winds are too high to safely do a tour, or if it looks like all you will see on the flight is cloud, we will cancel your flight and do our best to work with your availability to reschedule.
What if I need to cancel my flight?
There is no charge to cancel your flight with more than 7 days notice. Within 7 days, the cancellation fee is 10% of the total cost of your flight (this applies to no-shows as well).
What if I want to see something specific not included in your tour routes?
Let us know! We can work with you to create a custom route for your tour.
