Come out for a Visit

Follow the Alaska Highway where you will see the St. Elias Mountain range, then drive beside Kluane Lake through Tachal Dhal (Sheep Mountain) (look up…way up) where you may see sheep in the mountains or sometimes on the highway. Stop to check out the Visitor information centre at Tachal Dhal(Sheep Mountain) and stretch your legs, before continuing on a long the lake.

Located approximately midway on the western shore of of the spectacular Kluane Lake, Destruction Bay serves as an ideal base to explore this corner of Yukon that visitors often pass by.  You can walk miles along the tranquil lakes shore without seeing another soul or you can drop a fishing line and try your luck at catching a lake trout or one of the other cold water species.  These frigid waters make for the most delicious fish, and catching it yourself in these spectacular surroundings makes it even more amazing!  You will be treated to a wonderful home cooked dinner and a beautiful room, then following a relaxing breakfast the next morning  continue on with your drive to the Burwash Airiport where your flight awaits you.  Sit back and relax as your pilot takes you to a world you could never even dream about because it is so breathtakingly beautiful in the Glaciers.  Choose from 1-2 hrs (or a longer custom tour).  

As you soar through the glaciers of Kluane National Park, the world’s largest non polar icefields you can see the Kasawulsh, Donjek, Stairway and Steel Glacier, Mount Queen Mary, Mount Logan….and the list goes on.
